                  Instructions for Using Newsletter Software

  • How do I log in to the control panel?
  • How do I enter a text message to send?
    • You will see this screen upon logging in:

      • Change the name of the subject to whatever you wish.
      • You will probably send in plain text mode, so leave the format setting as is.
      • Type in or copy-paste your message in the large box
      • The advanced tab allows for more options. Ignore unless you are sending html emails (next section)


  • How do I enter an HTML email?
    • Click the advanced tab in the upper right and you will see this screen:

      • You can change the from and reply-to to your name instead of "Reverse Mortgage Loans" You must use quote marks as they are shown. Example: "Jim Bras" <admin@ereversemortgageloans.com>
      • You can change the name of the subject to whatever you wish.
      • Type in or copy-paste your text message in the Text Version box and HTML message in the HTML Version box

       


  • How do I actually send a test message and then the real message?
    • First click the "I'm sure" box on the lower right of the message screen:

      • Click the "Submit Test Message" to send it only yourself before sending it to your list.
      • Check your email and if you are satisfied, then click the "Submit Mailing List Message"

       


  • What's the easiest way to add or delete subscribers from my list?
    • The easiest way is to use the box in the left margin of your home page and not in the newsletter software:

      • Click the Subscribe or Unsubscribe button as desired
      • Enter the email address
      • Click the submit button. You will see a confirmation screen
      • The person will receive a confirmation email that they have subscribed or unsubscibed.

       


  • How do I edit my subscriber list from within the newsletter software?
    • See the Manage Subscribers section on the left:

      • Click the "Add" link to add new subscibers to your list.
      • Click the "Remove" link to remove subscibers from your list.

       


  • How do Add Subscribers from within the newsletter software?
    • If you click the Add Subscribers section on the left you will see this screen:

      • Type or copy in the email addresses (only, not names) of the persons you want to add.
      • Click the "Skip Confirmation Screen" box.
      • Click the "Submit Email List" button on the right.
      • The subscriber will NOT receive a confirmation email to the subscription (sometimes preferred)


  • How do I Remove Subscribers from within the newsletter software?
    • If you click the Remove Subscribers section on the left you will see this screen:

      • Type or copy in the email addresses (only, not names) of the persons you want to delete.
      • Click the "Submit Email List" button on the right.
      • You can search for a particular address using the box at the lower right. You can even enter a partial address.
      • The subscriber will NOT receive a confirmation email to the unsubscription (sometimes preferred)
